The city I live in, London Ontario, is having a bus strike starting November 16th. The Mayor has turned her back on everyone (no shock there, she's incompetent) and many people including myself will be effected by this.
The people I feel the worst for in this is senior citizens, the disabled and students who have no other means to get to school. Everyone is effected by this and it really sucks.
I'm trying to look on the bright side in my situation.
I've timed it, it takes me about an hour to get to work. Now when I leave work I will be taking a longer way around because the one area just isn't safe at night time. So about an hour and 15 minutes give or take. So in a nutshell I'm going to be walking this whole time. I'm only going to cave in and get a cab when it's freezing rain or blizzarding.
Xmas... the only way I'm going to get shopping done is online it seems. I can go to masionville, that's about 45 min walk from my house.
I've been walking to work this week just so I can condition myself for it. I admit, I don't know how i'm going to survive because to and from work plus having to stand at work all day. I'm going to be exhausted. I'm gonna warn my parents that I might not beable to come over there and work because i'm going to be frazzled by this.
Here's hoping it doesn't drag on forever. If it does... well then I guess waiting outside for Dir en grey was a good way to get coldness tolerant. :P

So I didn't feel like going to school to continue the paintings. Something else came to mind besides those. When fun begs for me to come play, I ended up following without hesitation. I've been working way too much recently (damn due dates), but I had to get things done as EARLY as I can so I can spend some (make that a lot of) time with my fiancé on Thursday.
List as of today: Reading and setting up for CAW #9 (Women in Art History) Guerilla Girls book review (simply need to type in rough draft) (Women in Art History)
After reading some entries regarding to Axis Powers Hetalia for quite sometime now, I find myself being drawn in to watching the series. It is so FRICKING HILARIOUS! XD I'm officially addicted to it, including the Chibitalia moments. So I make a note to myself to watch 12 episodes a day whenever I decide to take a break from school woes. Poor little Italy...I want to hug him, but at the same time, I want to smack him for his stupidity. *probably gonna get bricked for that statement*
I should get started on reading now. ^^;

Today was the dreadful critique day at Comp Graphics. And it turns out that word "dreadful" was just an understatement. When everyone presented their artworks, they made mine look like ABSOLUTE CRAP! Though I do appreciate the constructive criticism on what I needed to do to make it better, I felt like the damage had already been done, no matter how hard I've worked on it. If I ever make a D or and F on this project, I am more than ready to make a bonfire and throw it in there. I'm really beginning to not like the class anymore. Plus I just want this damn semester to end.
Painting only did a bit of good in forgetting my feelings of temporary worthlessness. But this sketch from Whose Line (US) REALLY erased it. :)
